Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor me online.
My name is Steve, I will be doing a sponsored ride from London to as far as my legs will take me. The plan is Lands End but what ever way I will be cycling for 6-7 days solid.
ALL FINISHED
Thank You everyone that has sponsored me and helped me through the last 4 months training. It was all worth while.
In the end I completed 475 miles (35 miles more than expected) and I'm still here to tell the tale.
Would I do something like this again......probably
MARCH 2006 Update - Just managed to complete my 160 mile target for my first months training. I am looking to break the 200 mile mark in April !!!!
APRIL 2006 Update - April has been a good month for training, managed to step it up a gear and clocked up 233 miles including my first 75 mile ride in one day!
May 2006 Update - May has been a strange month, I have managed to get in some regular 33 mile rides but a combination of a knee injury at the begining of the month and the windy conditions through out the month have limited the overall amount I could clock up. Still I managed to just beat Aprils total with 237 miles.
This also brings up the 600+ mile mark for the 3 months training.
JUNE 2006 UPDATE - Target 300 miles - June was my largest month so far with total of 422 miles cycled. This means I have trained a total of 1051 in the last 4 months for my challenge.
THANK YOU to everyone that has sponsored me and just to let you know I am off on the cycle on Thursday 6th July so you can still get in there with a late sponsor.
It would mean a lot to me if you were able to sponsor me on this trip, I am riding in aid of a charity called CLIC which raises money for children that have been born or contracted cancer at a young age.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: CLIC will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
So please sponsor me now!
Many thanks for your support, Steve.
