The total number lengths to do 22 miles in my local gym pool is 2609!.  I'll be doing breastroke because that's all I can do!  I'll keep you posted on progress here...so visit often...since the 11/09/06 I have now done 3,300 lengths (approx 30 miles) SO THAT MEANS I HAVE OFFICIALLY SWAM THE CHANNEL and I am now on the way back! I will try and swim back as well by 3rd December 2006!...but at the moment long days at work are getting in the way...
