Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. In March 2009 I am going to Peru with the Mental Health Foundation and will be trekking up to Machu Picchu.
I am supporting this charity because of the excellent work they do in the field of mental health, in particular the efforts they are making to raise the profile and awareness of the illnesses that most people don't want to talk about and reducing the stigma surrounding depression, bi-polar disorder, schizophrenia, et al. As most of you know, I have been battling clinical depression for what seems a very long time, over 9 years, and the help and support I have received I would like to pay back and this seems an appropriate way to do it.
