In 2010 I am running the London Marathon, and a week later, I am in the North Dorset Vilage Marathon, so my challenge is to run 2 marathons in a week (well 8 days, but it's still a tough challenge!)

I am raising money for ACTION FOR M.E. - a charity that supports people who suffer with M.E. and believe me, I know that some people really suffer with it. It is a condition that is close to my heart. I am going to run 2 marathons in a week, but for anyone with M.E.,  just getting through the day is like completing a marathon.

 

I've done a few long distance events - marathons, ultra marathons, triathlons, and an Ironman Triathlon (a very long way, it took me over 15 hours, see pic). But this will be the first time I have ever attempted an event to try and raise sponsorship for charity. I am doing it this time because I really want to try and help people with M.E. I dont do any kind of hard selling, but if you can spare a few quid, it really would be apreciated. And any comments and support will help keep me motivated through the next few cold months of training, mainly in the dark, after work.
