UPDATE!
So yeah,... I completed the London skating marathon (all 26 miles of it) on Sunday 31st of August 2008, Hillingdon Cycle Circuit, London and completed it in 2 1/2 hours.
It was wet to start off with which made it very hard going as the wet made the wheels slide, but luckily dried off for a good 12 mile or so,... right upto the last 4 to 5 mile when the heavens opened and rained really hard for the rest of the marathon, that much that in some spots of the track it was knee high,.. this isn't even an exaggeration!
Nevermind... still did it!!
Ok,.. so i'm still a little short of my target, but I still have a month and a half to get in more sponsors!

As some of you are aware I had a kidney transplant back in October 2000 (thanks to my brother - Darren) and i'm doing fine! So fine in fact that it's about time to give something back which is why i'm doing this!
