Story
For my first, and probably last, marathon I've of course chosen to run 26.2 miles around all 4 theme parks in Disneyworld, Florida. So I'm off to Florida for the new year, and come 6am(!) on 8 January 2006 I'll be at the starting line at EPCOT.
In keeping with the location, I'd like to use the opportunity to raise money for a charity that helps make the dreams of sick kids come true - including helping them visit Disney World. Going to Disney was always my ambition as a kid (Disneyland, California - I'm so old, that was all there was when I was young) & I've been lucky to have been around long enough to achieve (and repeat!) my dream. Let's help someone who may not be able to wait as long as I did to achieve their dream!
