Well we made it! The Three Peaks Challenge is one of the hardest things we have ever done but is so satisfying to complete. After more than our fair share of tribulations we arrived triumphantly at our final destination after 22 hours 55 minutes.

As you can see we more than exceeded our target of £1,500 and have been delighted with the extraordinary response we have had. Help for Heroes is a charity that has obviously struck a real chord with the British public and we have consequently decided to extend the amount of time we can accept donations, so the new closing date for the site is now 1st January 2010.

I have teamed up with a few colleagues from work to undertake the arduous Three Peaks Challenge over the weekend of 13th and 14th June 2009 on behalf of Help for Heroes. This means scaling Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon and we have to reach all three peaks in the same 24 hour period (which includes the travelling time between each mountain). It's certainly not going to be a stroll in the park but it should be a real challenge to raise money for a very worthy cause so please sponsor me if you feel you can.
