With my 40th fast approaching i foolishly decided doing a full marathon would be a good way to mark the occasion!  

Anyway i'll be running in the Loch Ness Marathon on sunday 5th October and am looking to raise money for Maggies Centres, who are building a centre for North East Cancer Patients at the New NCCC at Freeman hosptial which is only a few yards away from my house!

There are many cancer charities and working in cancer it is often hard to choose, but maggies focus on supporting people living with cancer and their families which i feel is important!  Hope you can help and make a small contibution.

(Ps i started training with ambitions of a sub 4 hour time... now i'd be glad just to finnish)
