Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

I am planning to drive from Lands End to John o Grotes using only "A" raods, in my car over one week, to support the MS society (of which my wife has been a sufferer for nearly 10 years). This daft idea of mine starts Saturday 11th July 2009 from Leigh on Sea, Essex.

This may not sound like much of an mission until you know that it will be in a 15 year old TVR (anyone who has driven in a TVR must realise that a 2000 mile round trip in a car that has a wooden suspension, no power steering and a heavy clutch (I am expecting arms and legs like Popeye at the end) is not funny!!) with only a tent a fishing rod and a can of Guinness as an overnight luxury!!!

Itinerary

Stage 1:
Home (Leigh on Sea, Essex) - Lands End

Stage 2:
Lands End - Newport
(Via Newquay, Bidford, Bridgewater, Newport)

Stage 3:
Newport - Bangor
(Via Monmouth, Shrewsbury, Betsy Coed)

Stage 4:
Bangor - Kilmarnock
(Via Chester, Liverpool, Preston, Blackpool!! Lancaster, Carlisle)

Stage 5:
Kilmarnock - John o Groates
(Via Erskine bridge, loch lomomd, glencoe, fort william, loch ness, inverness)

Stage 6:
Return Home!!!
