Trinity Palliative Care Services provides specialist palliative care to the community of Blackpool, Fylde & Wyre. It offers physical, emotional, practical and spiritual support to patients and their families. This care is available free of charge and each year the service is required to raise over £2million from voluntary donations.

My personal message:

Well here I am along side Blackpool Fc's manager Simon Grayson (also a Trinity supporter) at the start of the 2008 Blackpool 10k fun run.

I always said I would take on another marathon before I am too old so here I am.

After being rejected from the London Marathon ( By Ballot ) I decided to enter the Amsterdam Marathon. There are 3 main reasons for this, 1 - I get to train throughout the summer,( as you may or may not know training for London is done throughout the winter) 2 - Amsterdam is flat (I hope)and 3 - its for a great cause. So thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor me online.

*Since developing this webpage, we have all been deeply saddened by the tragic loss of Dorothy Robinson, Grandma to Sarah and I. Wife to Wilf and loving mother to Anne. She was an exceptionally special lady, loved by everyone who knew her.  The family have decided to request donations for the hospice rather than flowers, as this would have been Dorothy's preference - to see others, that may be suffering, benefit from your donations.
