We're Children's Hospices Across Scotland (CHAS). We care for children throughout Scotland with life-shortening conditions and their families. We make sure that no matter how short their time together may be, it is filled with happiness. Even in the pain of grief, we're determined that joy lives on.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit Stewart Higgins and Andrew Keith's JustGiving page.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

We are having a mid-life crisis and in a desperate attempt to prove we are not too old we are cycling 800 miles from Dunkirk to Nice over a painful and punishing 9 days in the saddle. In addition to being handicapped by aging bodies and worn joints, we will be attempt this Herculean feat with only a very limited command of the French language.

As we near the south west of France, time, legs and lungs permitting, we will attempt the legendary climb of Mont Ventoux    http://montventouxwebcam.com/

Most importantly of all this is being done to raise money for The Childrens Hospice Association Scotland. http://www.chas.org.uk/

It is a fantastic organisation and every penny you donate will go to help children with life-limiting conditions.

So please think of the good you will do by making a donation.

thank you very much for your contribution.
