I have committed to visit China on behalf of the Ayrshire Hospice and trek sections of the Great Wall. This trek will take place from 28th March 2009 for 10 days during which time we should cover 100km.

I feel very priviliged that I can take this wonderfull oportunity to fundraise on behalf of the Ayrshire Hospice but acknowledge that it would be difficult to do this without your help as I require to raise a minimum of £3000 sponsorship.

My wife Ann and I have contributed to this cause through attending events and through the weekly lottery for many years now but I feel this is a more unique opportunity to do something just a wee bit different and maybe help to make a difference especially in this special anniversary year for the Hospice.
