One night out with your friends = one kid's education cost for a month (SLR 1500/approx £9). Be a "Couch Potato" for one night, and change the future of one child forever. 

These are not just any children. These are children who've been born into, and have known little else other than for war. They are children just staggering out of a 3 decade long civil war in the North of Sri Lanka, where they've had to witness things, no parent would ever want their child to experience in a lifetime, let alone a childhood. 

Your contributions will not be given directly to the child, it will be pooled in with all other sponsor contributions in a common fund, from which the child's needs will be assessed on a monthly basis, and provided for, accordingly. All sponsors will receive a half-yearly and end of year report with updates on the child's welfare and progress at school. Direct correspondence with the child is encouraged and can be facilitated via Stitch.
