St. Just-in-Roseland Church SOS – Sponsor Our Slates!

St. Just-in-Roseland Church has nestled alongside St. Just Pool on the edge of the River Fal since it was built at the turn of the 13th Century.   Every year, thousands of people from all over the world come to visit this enchanting church in its idyllic location.   Its tranquility and beautiful gardens have been an inspiration for many.

Today however, we are asking for help from all those who love this unique church as well as the wider community of their friends and neighbours as the roof is in dire need of restoration.  Surveys have been done and urgent action is needed to repair the roof and protect the church from the storms and gales that can lash the Cornish coast.   It has now become our responsibility to maintain it for future generations.

£350,000 is needed for this vital work and 35,000 slates are needed so we are asking for your support by Sponsoring a Slate – or more than one – to help us reach our target.  You can sponsor as many as you feel able to.  Each slate costs £10.

The names of those who sponsor a slate will be recorded in a book, which will be kept in the church and will be available on request for sponsors to read.

Thank you for taking the time to visit our JustGiving Page and double thanks if you feel able to support us.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the church and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - we raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the church.
So please dig deep and sponsor as many slates as you can now.
