Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
Have you ever stopped to consider the true value of your time at work? Would you be prepared to donate just one hour of your pay to help to support the work of St Luke's Hospice?
What exactly will one hour of your hard earned salary buy? A takeaway prehaps, a bottle of wine or a tickets to catch the lastest film. Would you occasionally give up the cost of that? A seemingly small action by you could help make a huge difference to our patients.
The cost of your takeaway could for example help provide freshly cooked meals for patients; the cost of your bottle of wine might result in a patient enjoying their own favourite tipple from our famous Hospice drinks trolly. When time is precious the little every day treats we all take for granted can make a big difference.
At St Luke's we are specialist in palliative medicine. We care for terminally ill patients who are facing the end of their lives. Our aim is to manage our patients' pain and other distressing symptoms by delivering high quality medical and nursing care alongside a dose of normality - which is why the drinks trolley is so important! We believe that all patients should have the best end of life care wherever their 'preferred place of care' might be - Hospice, Hospital or at home.
All we are asking is - could you (would you) donate an hour of your pay to St Luke's so that we can continue to care. Any gift you give will make a difference.
So please dig deep and donate now.
