Story
Thanks for visiting our Jail and Bail fundraising event.
St Luke's Hospice stages it’s first ever Jail and Bail event on Friday 13th March. This is an event which has never been seen before inHarrowor Brent.
It’s a networking event with a twist as some local business people and councillors will be locked up in Wembley Police Station.
Each prisoner has been summoned to arrive at the station where they will be arrested and charged. Once inside, they have to raise enough bail money to secure their release.
They need your pledge money to avoid sleepless nights in jail – donate now!
The prisoners awaiting their pledge money are: Cllr Yogesh Teli (Kenton West Ward), Cllr Harshadbhai Patel (Former Mayor of Brent), GP Desai (Lions Club of Sudbury), Meena Patel (Lions Club of Sudbury), John Corner (St Luke's Hospice), Uttam Tripathy (Blue Ginger and Zenzer), Martin Simmons (Marsworth Computing and Network4Business), Kevin Riley (The John Lyon School), Cllr Navin Shah (London Assembly Member of Harrow & Brent) and Ajay Maru (Salon Sleek and Sleek Academy)
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: St Luke's Hospice (Kenton Grange) gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
We would be extremely grateful if you could support the Jail and Bail event by donating online. Please add the prisoners name and do leave a ‘comment’ too.
This event is sponsored by the Brent Metropolitan Police.
