My story
Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page. To all who have donated so far, A VERY BIG HEARTFELT THANKS FOR YOUR GENEROSITY! If you have not donated already please help support our cause to raise enough money to purchase a Concept II Rowing Machine with a support pack for pupils with additional needs, for Hawick High School.
On Saturday 2nd July, five friends and members of Think Fitness (all former pupils of Hawick High School) set off on foot from Hawick on a circular route to St Mary's Loch and back. Some 26.27 miles later on arrival at the loch they we CANOED across it. We then spent the evening 'al fresco' under the stars, after a wee visit to Tibbie Shiels for some light refreshments, under the watchful eye of 'weel-kent' cooking teacher Ann Scott and her husband Bruce, before setting off to on our WALK back to Hawick the following day.
We WALKED nearly 49 MILES over two days, and by clicking on the following link, you'll see how we managed it:

We ended up burnt, blistered, bitten, battered, and bruised, but it was well worth it for such a deserving cause!
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - we raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
So please dig deep and donate now.
Thanks from Ann Scott, Stuart Oliver, Gavin Gibbon, Keith Douglas, Brian Aitken, Gary Dalgleish.
