Street Child Africa exists to improve the lives of the hundreds and thousands of street children and babies who live, work and sleep on Africa’s streets.  The needs of street children guide us in all we do, whether it is fundraising for our African partners, looking at innovative ways of supporting their needs, or raising awareness of their plight with our own UK government.

Street children in Africa live a desperate existence.  They are the result of many interlinking issues ~ chronic poverty, rapid urbanisation, family breakdown, and HIV/AIDS.  They are unloved, treated like vermin, exploited and abused.  They have no childhood.  Second generations of street babies are born on the streets to mothers who are no more than street children themselves.

Your support will help Street Child Africa to change that.  We work in partnership with African agencies to listen and learn from these children. We target our funding to give street children access to education, medical care, refuge from the dangers of the streets, care for their young babies, adult guidance, love and protection.  We can offer each child a new future.
