Firstly it is not known very often but as the managing director of Streets Local i am asking each and every one of you to get involved in a rather heart felt and close to me appeal.

The Bbc have launched an appeal called Kidney Kids to help the children of Ward 14 childrens hospital that helps children such as my own who are affected with Kidney problems.

My little boy Euan has been an amazing and brave child in the past 18 months of his life and each day he amazes me with what can only be described as a truly brave and amazing battle againist his brave battle with cystinosis.

cystinosis is a very rare diesease affecting only 2000 people wordwide with no know cure.

Euans life at the moment is strictly controlled by medication with 8 types of medicines to be taken 3 times a day and another medicine needing to be taken every 6 hours even in the night.

At some point his illness will mean he needs a transplant and will undergo very dark days,day which will test me and test my precious family as a unit.

Even now typing this i am finding it very upsetting and here i am typing it on a company website as its an email to a freind.

Euan means everything to me and my family and the thought he is going through this with such couragage is something that will make our family stronger.

We have had some amazing support and help through this dark period of our life from Birmingham childrens hospital on ward 14 where Euan is treated.

The staff there are truly something else and would do anything possible to help us as a family unit.

But the actual unit itself is rather depressing and dark with no proper windows on the ward to allow natural light.

Also Euan is only 19 months old and is still crawling because of his condition as he developed rickkets as well through the condition there is just no room for children of Euans age to actually crawl around safely and this means he can be in his cot for hours upon end with a few hours in the evening crawling around the waiting area when the clinics have finished.

This ward,This Hospital,These children really need your help to make life better for them so please do everything you can possibly do to make life a bit better for these children.

Also as of today Streets Local will be accepting donations through Just Giving and this money will go to the appeal to help make life better for children such as Euan at Birmingham Childrens Hospital.
