Story

Welcome to our JustGiving page!

July 2017 saw the three of us (Peter Norris, Vidas Vaitkevicius and George Inscoe) take part in the Longest Day Golf Challenge in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support. We really enjoyed raising money for such a worthy cause, so have decided to do it again this year! We’d really love to beat our target of £1000, so please donate!

This year, on Saturday 23rd June, we will be playing in memory of Danni and Kirsty O'Neill's' father, Martin. He was a fantastic Golfer who very sadly passed away 7 years ago from cancer. He is missed deeply by all his family and friends, and the three of us wish that we could have met him, and played golf with him!

The Day will see us play 4 rounds (72 holes) of golf in 1 day, which last year took us 15 hours and 40 minutes (05.00 - 20.40) and was a lot more challenging than we initially thought. I had a step counter with me and it was showing well over 50,000 steps (25 miles!) by the end of the day, so it truly is a marathon. Please support us as much as you are able, we have all been affected, in one way or another, by Cancer so please help us support the amazing people at Macmillan who care for all those affected by the horrible illness.

Thank you.
