About the event

The Canterbury Office has done a number of events over the last year to contribute to this target and the Champagne Triathlon is the grand finale. The challenge will be comprised of three stages, including a cycle ride from Taittinger's champagne house in Reims to Calais (over 180 miles) over the 10th - 11th June. Then on 12th June the team will sail from Calais to Dover. Finally, on 13th June the challenge will finish with a 28 mile marathon from Dover to Taittinger's newly planted vineyard in Chilham. A number of other colleagues will join the team on the 13th June, either walking or running to route from Dover to Chilham.

Charity

All of the funds raised will go towards Strutt & Parker's fundraising target of £200,000 for the Sebastian Coe Foundation which, in turn, is supporting the construction of the Francis Crick Institute. The Crick is a state of the art research facility in the heart of London and soon to be home to around 1,500 of the world's best scientists. The research taking place at the Crick will be at the forefront of medical science and we are delighted to be able to support it through The Sebastian Coe Foundation.
