Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On 8th May 2011 I will be taking part in Marshman, a half iron man! I'll be swimming 1900m followed by a 92k bike then finishing off with a 21k run.

I'll be taking all the pain of the challenge and all that I am asking is that you dig deep and donate for a worthy cause, The Hospice of St Francis, Berkhamsted. The hospice have provided great support to Karen Latham and family during her husband Phils illness. I am raising these funds in memory of Phil Latham.

All donations help,  no matter how big or small!

The Hospice of St Francis is a charity that provides professional support and care for people with terminal illness. They bring peace, comfort and dignity to people and help them live life to the full, for whatever time is left.

£50 would provide a counselling session for a child suffering from bereavement.  £100 would buy a day’s shift for one of the Hospices's specialist home care nurses.  £500 would provide an entire morning shift of nursing in the In Patient Unit for one patient, specialist medical care, emotional support, delicious meals, spiritual guidance, physiotherapy and much more.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
