<p>Hey everyone,</p> <p>As part of my year at Nexus this year, we have a Rag week (Raising and Giving week) which is basically a charity week where we do different events every year to raise money to keep nexus running and changing lives. Nexus is a charity and so as part of the year we have a charity week which every year raises 13% of the budget for the whole school! So last year's students raised money so that my fellow students and i can actually study at nexus. So i inturn as part of this year want to raise money so that the next years students can experience and grow like i have this year.</p> <p>Last year the sudents did 3 seperate activities and raised lots of money. This year things have stepped up a gear, literally!! As everyone who is at Nexus will be doing the same event, a cycle ride from Coventry to Amersterdam AND BACK. &nbsp;I Will be raising money alongside everyone else at Nexus and all our money will go into Nexus. Nexus will be using some of the money raised to help go towards their global vision of expanding and training people throught the world. So as part of this they are planning to build a school in South Africa. &nbsp;</p> <p>So yep we are cycling a long way 771KM, which is one for every student who has ever been at Nexus. That is 479miles!! We are already training for it and have been put into cycling groups in which we can train together and help eachother get the miles in. Overall with training we will be cycling 1000 miles! i think a pretty extreme challenge and endurence event! We will be training for 2 months to get fit enough to complete the event.</p> <p>The aim is to raise &pound;771 so that is &pound;1 for every Kilometer so if you sponser me &pound;10 then this will get me 10 Kilometers further!
