Sense is here to support disabled people from the first weeks of life through all the major milestones of adulthood. Over 70 years, we’ve built extensive knowledge and expertise in supporting disabled people with complex needs, including deafblind people.

Story

I DID IT! I'm proud to say I completed the London Marathon in a time of 4:44:00! Slightly outside my original target time, but considering the conditions (the hottest London Marathon EVER!), I reckon I did quite well.  I also managed my sprint finish for the Grandstands at the end, which I'm very pleased about.  Thanks very much to everyone who supported me, it all helped to push me on in those painful last few miles - and if you haven't sponsored me yet there's still time!

Eyesight and hearing are two senses which most of us take for granted. Imagine growing up with neither of them.

Sense is a charity which works to help thousands of children (and adults) in this situation every year, and to support this worthy cause I am running the 26 miles of the London Marathon on Sunday 22nd April.

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor me online.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Sense - National Deafblind and Rubella Association will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor me now - and pass on the link to anyone else you think might like to sponsor me too!

Many thanks for your support.
