Virgin London Marathon 2010 · 25 April 2010 ·

Our mission is to bring together the leukaemia community so we can find and fund the life-changing research that matters most. Together we can stop leukaemia devastating lives through research, awareness and advocacy.

Story

Hi all

Yes we're back...! - After completing the Great North Run last year you would have thought we would be perfectly entitled to hang up our running shoes and retire gracefully from this most gruelling of sports...

But no - that would be far too sensible!! Instead we have decided to take on the macdaddy of all races - The London Marathon (our first marathon - panic!!) What's 26 miles 365 yards between friends!!

The clock is counting down rather quickly now to the sound of the gun going off on the 25th April and the training is going well.

We are running on behalf of Elimination of Leukaemia Fund, a charity close to our hearts as Stu's Grandpa died of leukaemia, so please dig deep into your pockets and sponsor us.

ELF works with all types of blood borne cancers and all age groups. The money we hope to raise will be used for both medical research and helping patients through funding of both equipment and specialist medical personnel.

Thanks

Stu and Laura
