Alzheimer Scotland is the leading, national dementia charity in Scotland. Our mission is to make sure nobody faces dementia alone. We provide advice, information and support and we are here for people living with dementia, their families and carers across Scotland.

Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

David and I are competing in the 2009 Transalp, a mountain bike race starting in Mittenwald, Germany and finishing 8 days later in Riva del Garda. Italy.  It is billed as the "world's toughest mountain bike race", covering 600km and 22,500m of ascent (and descent!).  You can follow our training progress on the blog (contains some choice language and some mild peril and is not suitable for persons of an overly-sensitive nature... )

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Alzheimer Scotland gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor us now!
