Hi, i have agreed to abseil 450 ft !!! down Guys and Thoms hospital in London.

This is aid of a young boy called Charley Gavin. I work with his older brother and know mum and family via him.

Charley is a 3 year old little boy who has a congenital heart defect called Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome (half a heart). This is a life limiting illness. To date he has had 5 open heart surgeries in order to keep him alive. No-one knows how long Charley will live for, but we do know that time is precious and we have to give him the best life we can. Sponsoring me now for this event, means that ECHO, the childrens heart orgainsation can provide support for families with children like Charley, days out for children, medical equipment for the hospital and help families to enjoy the time they have with their special children. This means so much to Charley and his family and it is an honour to be doing this for them and others in a similar situation.

Incidentally, i am petrified of heights, as for the Superman logo, i am doing the abseil in my superman outfit. Please sponsor this great cause.
