Ron Burgundy: - 'Oop...I almost forgot. I won't be able to make it fellas. Veronica and I are trying this new fad called uh, jogging. I believe it's jogging or yogging. It might be a soft 'j'. I'm not sure but apparently you just run for an extended period of time. It's supposed to be wild.'
Following on from the Anchorman's advice, I will be running the Chicago Marathon again this year. Hopefully it won't be 88 degrees and 90% humidity as there has been little chance to do any heat training in the UK this summer.....
I'm running for Myton Hospice which as you can see from the information on the left hand side, does some amazing work with terminally ill patients and their families. My Nan was a patient there a few years back and it made her last few months a lot more comfortable. The Hospice is located in Warwickshire so for anyone reading this in London, it's in the north of England somewhere.
I have a pretty good time to beat from last year of 4 hours and 1 minute. Hopefully the training and Physio (including the tickle stick for those who are familiar with it's powers) will pay off. I do hope you can support this great charity.
Thank you for all your support (and the abuse for the last 12 months everyone at RBS !!)
Stu
