Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

In September 2009 I will be flying out to Kenya to work on a one year voluntary placement at Limuru Cheshire Services, a training centre for young disabled women. I will be designing and implementing a training course to help these girl's get office jobs. It will include training in computer skills, office administration, confidence building, CV writing, interviewing and so on. I also need to teach support workers to train and then hand the program over to ensure it program is useful for years to come. It is going to be quite a challenge!

A few different events will be going on over the summer to help raise money for the project. You can see the latest news here:

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It's also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Leonard Cheshire Disability gets your money faster and, if you're a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

All the money raised here will go towards this project.
