The ‘Stumped Up A Rockface Challenge’ will start at midday when the Cavaliers will race against the climbers up a 100-foot rock face at Meadfoot Quarry (below Daddyhole Plain). After this punishing ordeal, a civilised tea will be taken at Babbacombe Cricket Club on Wall’s Hill before harnesses and carabiners are swapped for pads and bats for a late afternoon Twenty20 match. Should the event be tied after one leg each, the decider will be played out in the skittles alley at Babbacombe Cricket Club.

We hope that this event will go some small way to helping to conserve these special sites for future generations.
