Story

<p><span style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Bitstream Charter', serif; line-height: 24px;"> <p style="margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 24px; margin-left: 0px; vertical-align: baseline; background-image: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial; background-color: transparent; background-position: initial initial; background-repeat: initial initial; padding: 0px; border: 0px initial initial;">Two of Torbay&rsquo;s amateur sports clubs will go head-to-head in a unique charity challenge on Sunday 8th May, when the Cavendish Cavaliers Cricket Club take on the Two Degrees Climbing Club. The &lsquo;Stumped Up A Rockface Challenge&rsquo; will start at midday when the Cavaliers will race against the climbers up a 100-foot rock face at Meadfoot Quarry (below Daddyhole Plain). After this punishing ordeal, a civilised tea will be taken at Babbacombe Cricket Club on Wall&rsquo;s Hill before harnesses and carabiners are swapped for pads and bats for a late afternoon Twenty20 match. Should the event be tied after one leg each, the decider will be played out in the skittles alley at Babbacombe Cricket Club.</p> <p style="margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 24px; margin-left: 0px; vertical-align: baseline; background-image: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial; background-color: transparent; background-position: initial initial; background-repeat: initial initial; padding: 0px; border: 0px initial initial;">We've decided to raise money for Torbay Coast and Countryside Trust because the Cavaliers play cricket at Wall's Hill and Cockington, which are both managed by TCCT, and Two Degrees climb at various places around the Torbay coast. &nbsp; We hope that this event will go some small way to helping to conserve these special sites for future generations.</p> <p style="margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 24px; margin-left: 0px; vertical-align: baseline; background-image: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial; background-color: transparent; background-position: initial initial; background-repeat: initial initial; padding: 0px; border: 0px initial initial;">So please donate to this great cause!</p> </span></p>
