Story

Vatternrundan is a 300km cycling event on the road around a lake in Sweden. It's so big you can see it on the weather map on the TV and even from space I'm told! The idea to take part in the event began at a wedding in Cambridgeshire in November. June 12th seemed a long way off then, it is very nearly here now (aahh). Our ultimate goal is to get round in one piece, have as many Swedish massages as possible and raise loads of money for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.

CF is the UK's most common life-threatening inherited disease, it affects over 8,000 people in the UK (including Will and his brother Toby).  Cystic Fibrosis affects the internal organs, especially the lungs and digestive system, making it hard to breathe and digest food.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Cystic Fibrosis Trust gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor us now!

Thanks to these people who donated in cash:

Gwen Ward, Elisa Pesce, Richard Carr, Jim Watson, Jose Canto, Chris Garrigos, Hughes Romagnan, Mike Larn, Bea Pascual, Kerry Wainwright, Lesley's mum and dad, Peter Renshaw, Andrew Smith, Roger O'Doherty, Paul Johnson and the following Star Wheelers - Chris Walsh, Paul Smith, Nigel Dickinson, Jon Corker, David Gavin, Ian Hodgkinson, Andrew Pearson.
