London Marathon 2017 · 23 April 2017 ·

We are dedicated to improving the quality of life and chances of survival for young cancer patients aged 13-24. We fund and build specialist units in NHS hospitals and provide dedicated staff, bringing young people together so they can be treated by teenage cancer experts in the best place for them.

Story

Hi everyone. First of all, thanks for taking the time to visit this page. I'm going to be running the London Marathon on the 23rd April to try and raise money and help contribute towards the Teenage Cancer Trust wards, the funding of nursing staff, and the brilliant work they do to provide support for the teenagers and young adults unfortunate enough to be suffering with cancer.

Having seen the fantastic support they provide to young people, and what a huge difference that support can make after my best mate was diagnosed in July 2016 has got me wanting to get behind this charity and help their expansion across the UK into more hospitals, making beds and facilities in Teenage Cancer Trust wards more readily available for those who need them. Myself and several others already donated our hair to raise money in aid of people afflicted with cancer earlier this year, so now I'm donating my feet as well. Time to get running!
