FEELING GREAT. NO PROBLEMS, MANAGED A 4 MILE RUN LAST NIGHT WITH PAUL (FRI 22ND). I AM SO GRATEFUL TO MY BODY AND MY KNOWLEDGE IN NUTRITION FOR MY ACHIEVEMENT.

 'I AM NOW THE OLDEST LADY IN THE WORLD TO HAVE COMPLETED 10 MARATHONS IN 10 DAYS IN AN AVAREAGE TIME OF 5.30.'

 A VERY BIG THANK YOU TO EVERY ONE WHO CAME UP TO THE LAKES TO CHEER MICHELLE & ME, IT WAS FANTASTIC AND VERY MUCH APPRECIATED.

THE RUNNERS IN THE MAIN MARATHON STARTED TO OVER TAKE ME AT 2 HOURS WITH IAN FISHER THE FIRST ONE, ALL OFFERED ENCOURAGEMENT AND RESPECT, RESULTING IN ME RUNNING FASTER THAN PLANNED.

IT WAS LOVELY TO FINISH WITH MICHELLE OUR TIMES WERE SO SIMILAR, IRONICALLY WE ONLY RAN APPROX. 2 MILES OUT OF THE 262 TOGETHER.

I AM GRATEFUL TO ALL WHO SPONSORD ME ESPECIALLY FOR HAVING FAITH I WOULD DO IT THIS TIME! IT IS LOVELY TO GET THE CHEQUES IN THE POST, THEY ARE ALL INCLUDED IN THE OFFLINE FIGURE. THE MONEY WILL HELP YOUGSTERS ACHIEVE THINGS IN THEIR LIVES THEY NEVER THOUGHT POSSIBLE.

In my teens I was fortunate to experience the adventures of the Duke of Edinburgh Award, twice completing the Lyke Wake Walk and a walking holiday in the Lake District with College leading to my love of running at a somewhat older age accruing 160 marathons at March '09.

Brathay 10 Marathons in 10 Days Challenge is an ideal opportunity for me to raise funds enabling less fortunate youngsters to enjoy the Lake District Experience at Brathay opening windows of opportunity to better prospects in life for themselves. 

Starting May 8th - 17th '09 running round Lake Windermere 26.2 miles every day for 10 days = 262 miles it is one of the toughest road marathons so a definite Challenge.
