Sue's 3 Peaks Challenge with Informa · 22 May 2015

The King’s Trust supports 11 to 30 year-olds who are unemployed or struggling at school to get their lives on track. Many of the young people we support are in or leaving care, have been in trouble with the law, or they are facing challenges such as homelessness or mental health issues.

Story

The 3 peaks challenge is the huge challenge of climbing the highest mountains of England, Scotland, and Wales in 24 hours!

Total distance is estimated at 26 miles with the ascent an incredible 9,800 feet (3000 metres).

- Ben Nevis - Scotland- 4,409ft (1,344m)

- Scaffell Pike - England - 3,209ft (978m

- Snowdon - Wales - 3,560ft (1,085m)

In May 2015 I will be taking part in this challenge after what will need to be many months of gruelling training.  The satisfaction of achieving this for a cause like The Prince's Trust will outweigh all of the inevitable pain and frustration of the training required!

An opportunity to help young people who may have had a rough start in life, and an opportunity to get fit for myself at the same time!

Anything you can donate will be greatly appreciated - you too will then have the satisfaction of helping a great charity (without the need to leave your warm house :-)).

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails.
