The Mercy Rescue trust runs an orphanage in Kenya which rescues babies who have been abandoned or orphaned. One baby was rescued after it had been left on a bus. The orphanage took her in and she has now been adopted by a Kenyan family.There are many more children in their care and because they are a charity they rely in fund-raising and donations.

Why a 10K run? Because its something I want to do which is definitely outside my comfort zone! Knowing that it could raise money to support this charity gives me an incentive to go out and train, especially after a day at work.

Please help me to support this charity. I will not be using any of the money donated to pay for the race itself, so it all goes to the charity.
