Anyone can get Parkinson’s. It gets worse over time and there’s no cure. Yet. Funding research into the most promising treatments, we’re getting closer to a cure. Until then, we're improving life for people with Parkinson’s, and the people in their lives. Together we'll find a cure.

Story

Thanks to all those that sponsored me. I completed the race in 67 mins 40 secs which I was really pleased with.

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page for the Parkinson's Disease Society.

On 26 April 2008 my Dad, Ian Dollar (72), passed away after many years of suffering from Parkinson's Disease. In memory of my Dad, I am training for the Brooks Brighton 10K Run and will be taking part in this race on 16 November 2008. All of the money that I raise will go to the Parkinson's Disease Society to support the specialist Parkinson's nurses that we found to be so helpful during my Dad's illness.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Parkinson's Disease Society gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor me now!
