Through having a baby I have made loads of new friends in Northwich – one called Ali, who had a baby called Matthew.

Ali was diagnosed with breast cancer last September and since then she began a big fight against it. Unfortunately it spread and Ali died on February 10^th 2008.  

Ali was cared for at St Luke’s Hospice in Winsford before she died, where she had an opportunity to chill out & spend relaxing time with her family.  

Ali was just like me, a new mum learning to look after a lovely new baby. I miss Ali very much and in her memory I’m going to do The Midnight Walk, to raise money for the hospice. It’s a half marathon walk at midnight on Saturday 28^th June 2008.
