I will not preach as my family and friends know why this is close to my heart ~ my mum and all my grandparents in the last three years have succumbed to this wretched illness, so I have a pretty good idea what is going to do for me!

Anything I can do to help fight I will.

In September this 41 yr old ~who is ageing really well I might add~ is off on his travels again. This time I am going to trek across the Sahara desert for Cancer Research UK.

What the hell fun is there in running when you can walk instead!

I am funding this trek myself so all money I can raise will go directly to the Cancer Research UK people. I do not have an exact amount that I want to raise, but I would like to help in any way I can.

I will regularly update this site when or if there is anything to say.

That’s all for now except to say that if you can donate please do. I used to think cancer happens to other people until it touched my family then gutted it like a fish in a very short time, so my sincere thanks for at least having a look and an even bigger thank you if you can leave a little piece of you here right now.
