We aspire to a society where all older people are treated with respect and have the opportunity to live fulfilled lives. Our caring and grant services help older people experiencing loneliness, poverty or age related conditions, including dementia.

Story

<p><span style="font-family: Helvetica; font-size: medium; color: #cc99ff;"><span style="font-family: Times;">On July 30th 2011 Gertie Olliver would have been 100 years old. In celebration of the life of an inspirational mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, we are jointly walking 100 miles across countryside where she lived, raising funds for Friends of the Elderly. </span></span></p> <p><span style="color: #cc99ff;"><span style="font-family: Times; font-size: medium;">FOTE provides services to enable elderly people to live independently in their own homes helping them through vulnerable and difficult times in later life.&nbsp;</span>Hitting our target guarantees 5 new central heating boilers and 18 hrs of trained home visits.&nbsp;</span><span style="font-family: Times; font-size: medium; color: #cc99ff;">Please help us smash it by joining in and giving whatever you can.</span></p> <p><span style="font-family: Times; font-size: medium; color: #cc99ff;">Thanks so much, Sue &amp; Chris x&nbsp;</span></p> <p><span style="color: #cc99ff;">Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and secure.
