Story
The last year has been difficult for us all as the world starts to open up again, we are bracing ourselves for more tough times; many routine veterinary treatments had to be put on hold during lockdown, this means we are about to become exceptionally busy as we continue to deal with the impact of lockdown. We will see cats who are ill having missed vaccinations. We will see litters of tiny, kittens whose young parents haven't been neutered. Sadly, many people are struggling for financial, physical or mental health reasons due to the pandemic as a result we will see many cats whose owners will come to us heartbroken, because they can no longer care for their beloved cat.
During lockdown Fram & Sax branch has had many longer term residents. Some with medical problems, like poor Lillie who sadly had to have a rear leg amputated and had to spend many months recuperating before we were able to find her a new loving home. Others have had to remain in care much longer due to behavioural issues, like Trixie who has had to have long and careful handling to ensure she will be ready to go to a new home. At Fram & Sax we take as long as it needs to ensure every cat is ready to leave us, safe in the knowledge we have matched them with a suitable home.
Will you help the cats and kittens who come through our doors by supporting our appeal? We hope you can and thank you very much.
