On Saturday 1st August, I'll be hosting a charity music gig at the Actress & Bishop in Birmingham to raise awareness and funds for the charity Shine. It's charity setup to support people and families affected by Spina Bifida and/or Hydrocephalus. These two conditions affect around one to two of every 1,000 babies born. I myself have had Hydrocephalus since birth and have been saying for years that I’d like to organise a fundraiser.

To come along and support the charity we're asking for your donations. Suggested donation amount is £5 per person. But of course, that is up to you :-). We'd also like to encourage you to GiftAid your donation so we can reach our target.

We're incredibly grateful to 3 talented local artists who are lending their support to the cause. These include acoustic artists Demi Marriner, Stacy & Andy plus DJ Lucy Loveheart. It'll be a great evening of entertainment!
