My story
Myself and 74 friends and family (including Thackers Pharmacy staff!!) are participating in the BUPA Manchester 10k run for the NORTH WEST LUNG CENTRE.
Also, Jon Inns is going to add a few more miles to the tally by doing the Edinburgh Marathon on 31 May.
We have chosen them as they have spent the last four years diagnosing my genetic immune disorder. As its such a rare genetic disorder further research is required to fully understand this condition for future generations.
I have worked out in these four years the centre have spent around £30 -£40,000 on just myself to diagnose my condition. I would like to give this all back with this race for the money to be spent on research.
