In a moment of stupidity and madness, as three Bupa employees we came up with the idea of running from Bupa's offices in Salford to their other base in Staines over 7 days. As luck would have it, the run is 184 miles which means we will be running 7 marathons in 7 days. We have bed & breakfasts booked along the way, but apart from that its just the three of us and the English countryside!

We're doing the runs for The Children's Adventure Farm Trust, which is a charity based in Millington in Cheshire which provides holidays and activities for terminally ill, chronically sick, disabled and disadvantaged children from all over the Northwest. They rely completely on donations alone and receive no other funding.

Simi and his girlfriend, Fiona, do a lot of fundraising for the charity. Fiona's sister, Kerry, used to volunteer at the farm when she was training to be a teacher and saw the great work they do. Unfortunately, Kerry died 7 years ago and since then Fiona and her family have raised thousands of pounds which has made a big difference to the farm. Kerry would have been 30 this year, so to celebrate this we're trying to raise as much money as possible

If anybody wants to join us on any of the stages or come out and cheer us on then feel free to, the route is planned below:

20/8/11 - Salford, Greater Manchester to Ruston Spence, Macclesfield - M50 3XL to SK11 0SE

21/8/11 - Rushton Spence to Ashbourne, Derbyshire - SK11 0SE to DE6 3DJ

22/8/11 - Ashbourne to Atherstone, Leicestershire - DE6 3DJ to CV9 3PL

23/8/11 - Atherstone to Northampton - CV9 3PL to NN6 7EX

24/8/11 - Northampton to Milton Keynes - NN6 7EX to MK19 6JU

25/8/11 - Milton Keynes to Great Missenden, Buckinghamshire - MK19 6JU to HP16 0AL

26/8/11 - Great Missenden to Staines - HP16 0AL to TW18 3DZ
