Story

Hi and Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.

I have now completed the Edinburgh Marathon, in approx. 4hrs 38mins, the first 18 miles was into a head wind which was very hard work, then for the last 8 miles the sun came out which presented it's own problems. On the whole it was a very enjoyable day.

Update: Firstly a BIG thank you to all those people who have already sponsored me and to those who have wished me well for the day.

I have now completed
I am running to raise money for Blythe House this is a local hospice which offers support for people with cancer and other life threatening illnesses and they also offer support for their families.

One of my best friends and his family have benefited from the facilities and support of Blythe, I am running the marathon in memory of David Whitney.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Blythe House, High Peak Hospice care will receive your money faster and, if you are a taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
