The Rowans Hospice Moonlit Memories Walk · 22 June 2013 ·

Rowans Hospice provides end of life care across South East Hampshire. We help improve quality of life for the patient around the clock. We receive a very small level of Government support and almost all of the money required to provide our services needs to be raised through voluntary giving.

Story

Dear All

On Saturday 22nd June we are taking part in the 12 mile Rowans Hospice Moonlit Memories Walk.  As you're getting ready for bed we'll be walking through the streets of Portsmouth & Southsea to raise money for the Hospice who I am sure you will agree, carry out incredible work.  These funds are desperately needed to safeguard provisions for the future.

The Rowans Hospice firmly believe that memories associated with the end of life have a significant affect on how people grieve and cope with their loss.  It is their ultimate aim to help all those who are referred to the service, to have optimal quality of life and to enable all patients to live life fully despite the limitations of advanced disease.  Care extends beyond the patients, to supporting family and close friends.

Please can we ask you to dig deep and help us raise as much as we can for this fantastic cause.

Thank you so much for your support.
