You may or may not be aware that upon the rest of the late, great Freddie Mercury, The Phoenix Mercury Trust was founded.
On the 2nd September, Yellow Wire, a band with very close connections to Queen will be dressing up as Freddie and taking part in Freddie For A Day with the hope of raising some money for Freddie's trust that donates to charities world wide who are raising awareness of AIDS.
The band along with anyone who wants to join in will paddle 15 miles across Hayle bay to St Ives and back via Godrevy Lighthouse. It's a mammoth physical expedition and your charity will be most welcome and greatly appreciated.
