This is the justgiving page for all members of the
Support Russell Brand and Jonathan Ross Facebook group to show what lovely, wonderful, intelligent and kind people they are by donating to the BBC Children in Need campaign. "BBC...surely not!!!" I hear you cry. But hear me out. The idea of the donation is to raise money for an excellent cause while also raising awareness of the number of people who support Russell Brand and Jonathan Ross and have been angered by the BBC's capitulation to a minority of complainers and the subsequent removal of some of our favourite programmes.
This appeal is basically intended to be about a large group of people turning anger and frustration into something positive.
This is a positive way in which we can make our numbers and the strength of our convictions known whilst simultaneously doing something good for humanity. Which is nice.
The rationale behind choosing Children In Need (besides it being extremely worthy of our charity of course) is that it may allow the BBC to publicise our numbers (something it has been reluctant to do thus far). Since Jonathan Ross has also been involved with Children In Need for many years (and continued to film for this year's show despite his suspension), as has Russell Brand, it also shows support for a charitable cause that they have been part of.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: BBC Children in Need gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
