Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor me online.

My plan is to cycle from Stoneleigh in Surrey to Tipperary in the Republic of Ireland.

I am raising money for two charities, one at each end of my cycle ride. I will leave from the 1st Cuddington (Warspite) Sea Scout HQ in Surrey on Monday 27th August and I aim to arrive at the "finish line" on Saturday 1st September. My chosen charity in Ireland is the Jack & Jill Foundation.

See their respective Web Sites (www.warspite.org.uk and http://www.jackandjill.ie/)

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: The Scout Association will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you. The Association will also cover the 5% handling fee that Just_Giving charge so the charities will benefit from all of your donation.

Please sponsor me now and why not visit my blog at http://www.itsalongwaytotipperary.blogspot.com/

Many thanks for your support.

Every penny helps UK Scouts to grow and reach more young people from all backgrounds. Your donation could help set up a Scout group in a deprived area, provide essential training for volunteers or fund a new activity. The possibilities are endless. Please don't use this page for local fundraising.
