Every two hours someone in the UK is paralysed by a spinal cord injury. It can happen to anyone at any time and no one is prepared for how it will change their life. Aspire is a national charity that provides practical help, supporting spinal cord injured people from injury to independence.

Story

Updated on Jul 11th 2012 at 8:44 AM from the JustGiving API

unfortunately due to our delightful weather it looks as if channel swim will now take place next week.

Help me achieve  one of my ambitions, challenge myself and raise money for an excellent cause.

Unfortunately, due to the vagaries of our British weather the swim had to be postponed last year. I will now be taking the tortoise route to France by swimming across the English Channel around the middle of July.  So while you are soaking up the glorious British summer I will be doing battle with jelly fish, basking sharks, sewage .......

I am aiming to raise £2500 as this will pay for a fully converted wheelchair including neck support so please help me reach that target and give generously.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
