Donations are paid into Solving Kids' Cancer’s general funds for our charitable activities. We help families affected by neuroblastoma through the provision of support and information; as well as investing in research and advocating for access to better treatment

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I'm raising money for Joseph Lillywhite a relative of mine, he is only 6 years old and is suffering from Neuroblastoma, a rare and very aggressive childhood cancer. Unfortunately, long term survival for children with high risk neuroblastoma is less than half the average rate for other childhood cancer and relapse rates are high.Despite Neuroblastoma being “high risk” there is no Protocol in the UK  for relapse neuroblastoma if treatment is needed. More often than not children and their families are required to raise money for treatment in either Europe or the United States.

I am doing tough mudder to raise money for Joseph for if he needs further treatment but as a family we are hoping and praying that he will not require such treatment and will be cured of this dreadful disease.

For all those people that don't know what tough mudder is, its a 12 mile obstacle course designed by special forces which includes me having to get through mud, fire, ice-water and 10,000 volts of electricity!!!

This is going to be a massive challenge for me but its nothing compared to what Joseph is going through on a daily basis! Any donation would be greatly appreciated, thank you very much for all your support.
